Receipt scanning, OCR recognition, categorization, and export preparation are processed locally on your device. We do not operate a backend service that stores your receipt content.
ReceiptGenie may store the following data on your device only:
If you scan a receipt, the app requests camera access solely to capture the receipt image. If you import a receipt, the app requests Photo Library access solely to retrieve the image you select. We do not access, upload, or retain any media beyond the items you explicitly choose to use inside the app.
When you export to Excel, Word, or PDF and use the iOS share sheet, the selected file is passed only to the destination you choose. This action is initiated entirely by you.
ReceiptGenie offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade. Purchase transactions are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Apple’s privacy policy governs purchase and billing data: apple.com/legal/privacy.
ReceiptGenie does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
ReceiptGenie does not knowingly collect personal information from children because the app does not collect personal information from users at all.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
