All video conversion happens locally on your device using Apple's AVFoundation framework. Converted files are saved directly to your device's local storage or Files app. No content leaves your device at any time.
Clipshift offers an optional one-time Pro upgrade. Purchase transactions are processed exclusively by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs all purchase data: apple.com/legal/privacy.
For free-tier users, a daily conversion counter is stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults. This counter never leaves your device and is reset automatically every 24 hours.
If you choose to import videos from your Photos library, the app requests read access solely to retrieve the selected video files. We do not access, copy, or retain any other photos or metadata beyond what you explicitly select.
The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
If we make material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
